For the moment im just having guildies request an item in a Forum topic i set up "Request Bank Items Here"
I ask them not to request items with the intention of resale, but theres no way for me to know exactly what happens to each and every item.
How do you manage guild bank item distribution?

I give a value to the item using the Auctioneer mod. then i give a 10 - 20% discount to that price for any of my guild members to purchase the item from them bank. Then they are welcome to us that item anyway they want to. Yes, I do realize that the person that may want the item is the person that donated they item. Once donated it belongs to the guild and is treated as such.

I do things a bit different, but I like the idea of buying some items from the bank. So here's the new scheme incorporating the earlier mechanism. Two key points in bank management: 1) limit withdrawals to a reasonable number, you will only get ninja'd in small amounts, number of withdrawals increase with rank/trust; 2) MONITOR bank activity, pick a couple officers who're on regularly and make this their sole "chore" for the guild. You'll nip a lot of problems in the bud this way.
Tab1 = free trade/exchange space for found/crafted items. Withdrawal limits enforced by rank. Not monitored closely.
Tab2 = crafting mats, cloth, primals, rare ores, gems, greens for DE, etc. Withdrawal limits enforced by rank. Monitored.
Tab3 = Phat lootz, large bags, 60+ blue/purple items. View only. Officers and GM only withdrawal and items must be paid for in coin or items of like value/crafting mats.
