Help: Why doesn't EpicMount use The Armory for ..... ?

Its been frequently ask why isn't The Armory use for more information to gather than just the guild's roster. Yes, The Armory is a great resource but it does have several limitations:
With respects to guild bank vault information available thru The Armory, the biggest concern here is security. EpicMount would have to store your Warcraft account name and password in order to access the guild bank vault since that information is login protected. Hackers would be more than happy to try and crack this site to get at those juicy accounts and passwords. It just not worth the risk! (Yes, EpicMount takes strong measures to protect the data stored here and protect the website from nasties.)
The EpicMount addon is the best way to get the most complete and up to the moment information about your character and guild. Combined with UniUploader, the whole import process can be painless, and automatic without having to remember to do the import!

- The Armory can be out of date by 2 to 3 days
- Characters below level 10 are not listed
- Inactive characters are not listed either
- Its a heavily used site and does get overloaded at times making it difficult to talk with on a reliable and timely basis.
